Saturday's event takes place at the WPA era Lansing School campus, now managed by Lost Province Center for Cultural Arts. LPCCA is committed to restoring the historic school buildings while celebrating and teaching Southern Appalachian culture and skills.
After the devastating floods from Hurricane Helene, LPCCA stepped in and became the epicenter of Lansing and Ashe County recovery efforts. This exceptional response was honored by then Attorney General Josh Stein with a Dogwood Award in December 2024.
